Trodan Produce (incorporating Supafresh Baby Leaves) operates out of two (2) farms in Baldivis, approximately forty (40) minutes south of the Perth CBD and twenty (20) minutes south of the Perth Market Authority. The farms are approximately forty five (45) minutes south of the Perth Airports. Our two farms are approximately thirteen (13) kilometers apart. We operate out of possibly Western Australia’s most suitable climate for year round continual lettuce production. Far south enough to avoid the extreme summer heats and dry winds, yet far north enough to avoid the extreme winter chills.

Our farms cover approximately 140 acres under solid set sprinkler production. We are Western Australia’s largest producer of Baby Leaf and Gourmet Lettuces. We have big irrigation systems to enable us to irrigate large areas very quickly (especially for quick cooling in summer). Both farms have coolrooms on site so that produce, once harvested, is immediately refrigerated! Our trucks are refrigerated! Our distributors have coolrooms, refrigerated sales and packing floors and refrigerated trucks! Our product is only as good as its cold chain. Our harvesting teams start in the dark and only harvest in the very early morning. Our baby leaf harvester is fully equipped with lighting to enable us to complete our harvest in the very early morning. For large orders on hot days, we are able to harvest through the night to avoid the daytime heat altogether. Owner and manager, Troy Cukrov formerly worked as a commercial agronomist and is responsible for regular monitoring of pest and disease pressures. We minimize spraying, although we realize it is our commitment to you to provide insect free finished product. We choose low toxicity products wherever possible. We have full Fresh Care QA accreditation at farm level, and our factory has full HACCP accreditation.
